We are currently looking for a phenomenal senior Java NLP developer who is proficient with Java, Spring, and NLP technologies to work in our fast-paced, agile environment.
Primary Focus
Designing state-of-the-art natural language processing solutions and implementing them following well-known Java workflows.
You will…
- Create back-end services using Spring with MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
- Work closely with our client stakeholders, architects, and back-end developers to determine the technical and business requirements.
- Will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain while providing a clean and easy-to-use design.
Therefore, a dedication to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.

- Building reusable components and back-end libraries for future use
- Optimizing components for maximum performance across a large, distributed system.
Requirements Skills Required
Technical Skills
- Minimum of 10 years designing enterprise applications
- Minimum of 10 years experience with Java
- Minimum of 3 years experience using the Spring framework.
- Minimum of 3 years experience using Natural Language Processing tools.
- Minimum of 2 years experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
- Minimum of 5 years experience using Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with Machine Learning and Python is a plus.
- Experience with common development tools such as Maven and Jenkins
Qualifications / Skills
- You should have a deep understanding of Java and its components.
- You should have a strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- You should have a strong proficiency in Natural Language Processing
- Having familiarity with RESTful APIs is a must
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools such as Jenkins and Docker
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization
- Experience with GIT
- Being comfortable and proficient in a dynamic, agile team environment
- Should be a hands-on architect and not just architectural guide
- Experience performing code review
- Should have a strong understanding of coding and architectural best practices
